My Approach
I believe that everyone is unique, which is why I use knowledge and understanding of a range of therapeutic approaches, including CBT tools, psychodynamic exploration, ACT, IFS and mindfulness.
I offer a tailored approach within a welcoming and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings and begin to understand what might be going on beneath the surface. Together we can look at what feels difficult and find a way forward that feels right for you.
We are often able to show kindness, compassion and understanding to others, yet we can struggle to offer the same to ourselves. Through active listening, reflection and empathy, I work with you to explore how you see yourself, recognise patterns in your thoughts and beliefs, and reconnect with what truly matters to you. We move at your pace, gently exploring root causes or triggers and building your own wellbeing ‘toolkit’ to help you cope during challenging times.
Taking the first step into therapy can feel daunting, and it’s natural to feel uncertain or nervous. Many people feel this way at first, and reaching out is simply the first step in finding out if therapy might be helpful for you. I offer a free 15-minute initial phone call where you can ask any questions and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
My hope is that therapy helps you gain greater clarity, reconnect with your authentic self, and move towards meaningful and positive change in your life.
