Holistic Menopause Support
Menopause can be a challenging time — and I speak from personal experience. What I once assumed would be a simple transition soon revealed itself as a complex journey affecting every part of life: the physical intensity of hot flushes, night sweats, and joint pain; the emotional turbulence of mood swings, anxiety, and stress; and the disorienting brain fog that can leave you reeling in self-doubt and disconnected from who you are. Through my work as a hypnotherapist, counsellor, and reflexologist, I’ve supported many women navigating similar changes in confidence, energy, and identity, seeing how deeply menopause can affect both body and mind. These experiences led me to qualify as a HypnoMenopause® and Reflexology for Menopause Practitioner, offering holistic, compassionate support that aligns beautifully with the psychotherapeutic work I already do.
Understanding the Menopausal Transition
If you’re reading this page, you may be somewhere within the menopausal transition or perhaps beginning to wonder if your symptoms are related. Whether it is Perimenopause, the lead‑up to menopause that can last several years, or the Menopause itself, a stage reached when you haven’t had a period for twelve months or more, or maybe you are entering the Post‑Menopausal stage. Wherever you are in this journey, you may be finding certain aspects of it difficult. Symptoms vary from woman to woman. You may be experiencing hot flushes or night sweats, feeling more fatigued than usual, or noticing new aches and pains. Your sleep may be disrupted, your anxiety heightened, or you may be struggling with brain fog that makes everyday tasks feel harder. You may have sensed changes in your mood, or even your sense of who you are.
These symptoms can affect daily life, relationships, confidence, and overall wellbeing — leaving you feeling uncertain, disconnected, and isolated, yet still placing expectations on yourself to carry on regardless.
You don’t have to face this alone
How I Can Support You
I offer two complementary therapeutic approaches that work beautifully together or individually, depending on your needs.
HypnoMenopause®
Hypnotherapy has long been used to help clients reduce anxiety and stress, improve confidence, and support emotional wellbeing. Clinical trials have shown that hypnotherapy can reduce hot flushes by up to 74%, while supporting emotional regulation, improving sleep, restoring confidence, and rebuilding self‑trust.
The HypnoMenopause® approach was developed by Dr Claire Jack, who writes regularly for Psychology Today as one of their in‑house experts on the menopausal transition.
Using hypnosis, mindfulness, and CBT techniques, HypnoMenopause® supports women to manage their menopausal experience in a natural, empowering way — bringing clarity of mind, enhancing the mind‑body connection, and restoring balance and a sense of self.
Sessions include talking therapy to explore what you’re finding difficult and identify the support you need, along with hypnotherapy and relaxed guided meditations to help ease symptoms and create positive change.
Reflexology for Menopause
Reflexology for Menopause focuses on supporting the body’s natural balance during hormonal change. Through gentle, targeted work on the feet, reflexology can help ease stress and overwhelm, relieve tension and muscle aches, bring comfort from hot flushes, and support emotional equilibrium.
Many women find reflexology deeply calming, grounding, and restorative — a space to reconnect with themselves during a time that can feel unpredictable or draining. Sessions are tailored to menopausal symptoms, supporting both body and mind.
Working Together
I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation, giving you space to talk through what you’re personally finding difficult and explore how hypnotherapy, reflexology, or a blended approach may support you.
